The following guidelines are used to determine honorable mention on the Colloidal Silver Database Website. We believe these guidelines embody the highest standards for excellence and integrity. We also believe that "qualified candidates" demonstrate ethics far beyond current social standards.

1. Authenticity - While accurancy of information is certainly important, we view authenticity as even a greater concern. Perfection is difficult to achieve, and while accuracy of information can be disputed, authenticity is an attitude and incorporates a state of being. Authenticity is gauged by scrutiny of marketing strategy ( if applicable ), presentation of information, and consideration of public interest.

2. Quality in Design, Craftsmanship, and Engineering - Rather than specifically choosing one method or process over another ( we don't feel that this is our choice to make ), we focus on the quality of the design, and attempt to balance that with pricing considerations, where applicable.

3. Consideration of Legal and Ethical Responsibility - Selfishness is seldom in the best interest of the public. Full knowledge and disclosure is expected regarding legal and safety matters to support and maintain the integrity of the colloidal silver "field".

4. Singleness of Purpose - Although we don't consider it wrong to market a wide range of products, many such vendors have no way to keep well informed about their various products and services. In some cases, modern marketing is the only method to stay afloat in the business world. Even so, a cohesive view about products and services rendered is expected.

5. Service - Personalized service is a must, and this is gauged by email responses and a measure of attention to detail.

6. Contribution to the Whole - Strong consideration is given to those whom on one level or another have contributed to the colloidal silver field as a whole, or whose pursuits stand out above the normal. This could be anything from a single story, to a design improvement, or a level of dedication that clearly stands out above the crowd.
